2025 Cross Country Wrap-Up!
Our Cross Country adventure kicked off on August 4th in Los Angeles, CA, where we battled Easton Prime to set the tone for the journey ahead. After three hot game days in San Bernadino, we headed east to even hotter Las Vegas, NV. The team go in a solid workout and enjoyed the bright lights of before beginning one of the most epic road trips of the summer.
From there, the miles started adding up quickly. We picnicked in Kolob Canyon, explored the Colorado National Monument, and wound our way through the breathtaking Rocky Mountain National Park. Even when one of our vehicles lost a transmission in Eastern Colorado, the team pulled together, adjusted and kept rolling - with Coach Fish always one step ahead catching up in Omaha the following day.
After matching up against Wow Factor, we hit the crown jewel of the trip: The Field of Dreams in Dyersville, IA. Two unforgettable nights under the lights on the original field (plus a stay in the house itself) gave the players and families memories that will last forever. Parents and grandparents even joined in for a catch!
The Tour rolled on to Milwaukee for a Brewers game and a matchup at Kapco Park, then to Cleveland for a Guardians game , and finally to Niagara Falls. Rainouts couldn't' stop us - we braved the Cave of the Winds, rode the Maid of the Mist and still go our games in (with a quick pop into Canada too!)
Our final stretch included the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, a rain-soaked stop in New Jersey and a Yankees vs. Red Sox showdown in Yankee Stadium.
After 18 days, 3,300 miles, 24 games played across 14 states, and countless loads of laundry, we wrapped up with full hears, new friendships, and incredible baseball memories.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the parents who entrust us with their ballplayers, and to the players who give everything they have on the field. This program exists because of your dedication and love for the game.
Finally, a special thank you to our coaching staff for their tireless commitment and passion: Coach Fish, Coach Drew, Coach Fritz, Coach Burton, and Coach McMaster. Your leadership, knowledge, and energy make all of this possible!
